In Windows 10 KRITA and PENTABLET seem to be happy with the setting being WinTab and I never had reason to change the setting. Idk how its linked but now the pen pressure works on Krita. When you asked for the info, it was the first time I had reopened KRITA and hence the successful result! However I cant get the pen sensitivity to work So far Ive downloaded the surface book drivers and firmware: (SurfacePro4Win101612010.msi). What must’ve happened is that on the last occasion I inadvertently left the setting on windows8+(WindowsInk) before closing. Therefore, I had assumed that the changes were having no effect. I remembered that I had tried changing from WinTab to this setting several times during my previous attempts to get pressure sensitivity but I had not realized that KRITA needs closing/re-opening for changes to take effect. The pressure sensitivity works great in pre-installed apps, like one-note and notepad, but I cannot seem to get the pressure sensitivity to work in Krita.
